Grooming young girls for sex

Home Office to take action

Back in September I read a very disturbing article in The Sunday Times which had racial overtones but was a very worthy piece of investigative journalism. Julie Bindel’s article outlined the serious allegations of grooming young girls for sex and prostitution in some of our Northern towns and cities, you can read it here. In essence it relates the efforts of CROP (Coalition for the Removal of Pimping) to get local police forces to take action against the men responsible for these seedy crimes, who were, it was alleged, mainly from Pakistani Muslim communities, and even spoke of threats of civil actions being taken against particular police forces.

I am glad to note that the Home Office has now decided to step in and set up a working party to investigate the “internal trafficking” of girls sometimes as young as ten. The BBC report on this serious issue, strangely makes no reference to the racial or religious make up of the alleged traffickers or of their propensity to abuse and pimp young indigenous white girls. Irrespective of race or religion, of course, these are very serious allegations which may be difficult to investigate and tackle, the major stumbling block being the ability to persuade the girls to testify against their pimps, whilst also being held hostage to the addictive properties of narcotics.

Crimes involving the prostitution of young girls and forced abortions, as well as physical abuse and drug culture upset me enormously, and, in my opinion, damage the cohesiveness of a normal civil society. Whoever is involved in these matters need to understand that they are not, and can never be, beyond the reach of the law.

  2. When I read about such organized cruelty to women and children, my solution is simple: Countries where such crimes are perpetrated should have a speedy way of getting these traffickers to the ELECTRIC CHAIR. GET RID OF THEM AND QUICKLY TOO!

  7. Sadly a lot of words and very few actions from politicians,
Girls are still at risk and the authorities do nothing about it
