Stark choices for Brown and Browne
Today’s report in The Daily Telegraph outlining the net shortages in our armed forces manpower levels must leave the government pondering over it’s stark choices.
Either find extra money to fund new recruiting and new equipment, or extricate thousands of troops from war zones in Afghanistan and Iraq where their purpose has been served (and by that I mean Bliar’s commitment to the “special relationship” with G.W. Bush).
