I think the green business brings out everything that is most unpleasant in our rulers.

This is a government that seems to be increasingly predatory in nature. They are always on the look out to persecute to punish to control and to extract more money,

Green issues add a moral excuse to their existing tendency to bully and extort and therefore they are increasingly merciless and self righteus. This has been vividly witnessed in attempts to charge for rubbish collection, collect only once a fortnight and impose fines for such appalling offenses as mixing up your rubbish. On the other hand 87% of all recycled stuff ends up in landfill demonstrating total incompetence on their part when it comes to achieving the ostensible aim of the policy

It is significant that alongside these so called green taxes the chancellor has set aside funding for road pricing something which most dont want but the government wants to impose

On the other hand when it comes to their part of the bargain, namely providing cheap and efficient public transport which might positively get people out of their cars they are too incompetent or indifferent to do so

These measures show either indifference or ignorance to the fact that people need their cars to shop take their kids places and in general just live

put simply they do things to us not for us.
