A word to “Big Al”
What a foolish fellow you are
This site has received four comments this morning from a person hiding under the ‘nom de plume’ of “Big Al” accusing me of being racist and possibly a member of the British National Party (see this post), and even worse making an allegation that my father may have been a Nazi (see this post). My father is away on holiday at present and will not take this allegation kindly at all having lived through the privations of the last war.
Now “Big Al” may think he is being clever in making these groundless allegations, I would normally defend anyone’s rights to free speech and expression but not when they are plainly wrong, lies, libellous, and as such contravene our laws. “Big Al” may also think that that he felt safe in using an anymous proxy server to drop these stupid comments here, the IP address of the proxy server is 75.125.48.82 located in Houston, Texas. Trouble is, it’s not a secure proxy and my site analyser can see behind it to the IP address of the user who posted these comments (see this screenshot). His IP address is 82.39.94.59 if he cares to go to this site it will confirm the matter for him.
Please note, there is a one hour time difference between my site meter and the timestamp found on posts and comments since the change to British Summer Time.
I am emailing “Big Al” to ask for an unreserved apology for these comments and I would like a response within 24 hours, unless of course, he would care for the world to know exactly who he is (seeing as he isn’t big enough to put his real name to them)

[...] been a pretty bad day in more ways than one, apart from being branded a racist and seeing my father being accused of being a nazi by a commenter on this sit…, I had a heated telephone conversation with the person behind the IP address, who insists they are [...]
