The power of a link

Crikey more traffic in one day than what I see in the average week!

Thanks Bill Thompson, whoever you are.

  1. Congratulations for appearing on Boing Boing, that is quite an achievement. I used to read Bill Thompson’s billblog, which I found from his writings he used to do for the BBC website?

I wonder how he came across your story?

  2. Hi Curly

I came across your story because I was searching for film/photography sites in tyneside as I’m doing some work with Tyneside Cinema in the runup to their re-opening, and I thought it was interesting to BB readers because there have been a few cases like this over the last few months and they need to be highlighted if we’re to make sure they stop happening.

PS I still write for the BBC website :-)

  3. @ Bill Thompson:

    Bill,
many thanks for raising the issue for Boing Boing readers and highlighting the dangers we face in a society that is finding it difficult to deal with it’s own fears, as one of my commenters has stated we need to worry less about strangers and bit more about those whom we know!
