Miliband cannot accept treaty is dead!
The only people to have been given a direct voice have said NO!
What on earth is South Shields MP and Foreign Secretary David Miliband chuntering on about? The EU Lisbon Treaty is no more than a dead fish floating on the surface of a sea of bureaucracy. The only people who have been allowed a direct voice are the Irish, who decided by a clear margin in a high turn out referendum that they do not want a European Constitution, they do not want a European Foreign Minister to speak for them, they do not want a European President, they decisively stuck two proverbial fingers up at the European super state federalist plan.
David Miliband ought to be reminding Gordon Brown that the Lisbon Treaty required the ratification of ALL 27 member states in a unanimous agreement, without this unanimity it has no legitimcy, so it’s dead, torn to tatters, forget it Gordon (and tell your old mate Tony he’ll have to think of finding another job!.)
