Its certainly suicide if he doesn’t enjoy popular support.
But the I think he cares more about the issue than about his job.
The Irish EU referendum showed that all the major political parties, Unions and most of the media can be wrong about what the people want.
They can also be wrong about the fundamental settlement that keeps the country free. On the BBC news this morning I was hearing complaint that the MDC party chair (I think) who has been arrested has not been charged within the 48hrs that Zimbabwean law requires (inherited from us).
Mr Mugabe may find introducing 42 detention without charge even more attractive for his purposes.
Who can argue against him if he did ?

I suppose that when the Conservatives are returned to government that they ought to at least make humour transplants available free at the point of access in the NHS, and ban folks who provide their own top ups!

All I know about Great Britain is that your glory days (British Empire) were over long ago. I am an American (born here in 1957) and my personal hero has always been (since I was 13 yrs. old) an Englishman : Winston Churchill. The British Empire was something to be proud of. The British people are to be admired and used as a paragon of civilization, laws and great inventions. That was then. This is now. And in my opinion I with respect for Britain and her great people believe they are losing (or lost) that great British attribute: the stiff upper lip and NEVER FLEE FROM A FIGHT. I am talking about the fight for your great CULTURE and the Muslim fight (they are winning) to supplant their CULTURE and RELIGION upon the once great UNITED KINGDOM.
