David Cameron victim of crime
Bike riding Conservative Leader David Cameron has had his mountain bike stolen from outside of the Portobello Road branch of Tesco in London, I feel for him. Being a victim of crime is no fun at all, the upside is that he is (a) well placed to be able to afford a new one, and (b) when he now talks about urban crime he can do so with a much increased authority, unlike someone such as Jacqui Smith or Harriet Harman. Labour supporters should note a complete absence of any official chauffeur in this story!
I have taken to riding a bicycle around South Shields in recent months, and I must review the security of the lock that I have, mind you, so far I have never bumped into any of our local politicos on two wheels -
despite all the hot air that they spout about the environment!
