A day in Northumberland
Castles and coasts
Curly and his family are off out for the day exploring the castles and coasts of Northumberland, hoping to get as far as Bamburgh and take in Seahouses, Craster, Dunstanburgh, Alnwick, Amble, and Warkworth on the way. A chance to show the children some northern history and hope that the sun shines.
Then we are taking a week holiday before they return to school (and give me some peace), so this blog will return next Tuesday – have a good week.
Pictures have been pre-loaded into South Shields Daily Photo to keep you all entertained.

I love the northumberland region! so many classic places to visit, its a shame that the traditional sea side holiday has faded so much! exploring inner coastline is a refreshing experience in the northumberland region.

I’m envious! I’ll have to have a cycling trip into Northumberland in the near future.
