Lord Drayson calls for greater spending on manned space projects
Britain should send astronauts into space, the new Science Minister said yesterday, giving the strongest sign yet that the Government will soon drop its long standing opposition to funding manned space flight.
As if we are not in a bit of a financial mess at the moment!
Can I suggest a craft large enough to accommodate Gordon Brown, Alistair Darling, Lord Drayson and his “Minister for Skills”, and make it a long ten year mission please!
No doubt some readers may wish to add more names to the list.
