A personal statement
I would wish to make it abundantly clear to all those half a dozen people who visit that other South Tyneside odious disreputable blog, that I am not the author of a comment published under this thread. If I make a comment on any other site I ALWAYS leave a link to this one and do not hide the fact that I am a bona fide blogger.
I know that by providing a link in this post will drive people towards the lying blackguard’s site, but I need to point out that once again we have someone in our midst in these parts who seems to enjoy fabricating his own comments due to a total apathetic response from anyone else who can be bothered to read the mindless drivel that he publishes.
His personal attacks upon most some of South Tyneside’s elected representatives, from whatever party, but particularly against David Potts, are completely beneath contempt. He is a cowardly being afraid to publicly announce himself, knowing full well that to do so would attract the most severe backlash from certain individuals and from a civil court too.
Those who claim to enjoy his posts need some sort of help.
Mr. Monkey please remove the comment that you have fabricated under my name!
Furthermore, you ought to stop advising your six readers about the amount of visits made to your garbage can blog by certain named South Tyneside councillors. There is but one small piece of javascript in your site which relates solely to the WordPress.com stat counter, it counts visits and visits only, the IP addresses that it records belong to those who can be bothered to comment. You have no other website analyser installed either on or off site, so you cannot possibly know who has visited, from where, when, or how often. Such comments that you have made about councillors visiting your site are nothing but gratuitous and frivolous lies.
Update
Mr. Monkey now accepts that the comments are fiction, but ruses that they were placed there by someone else – this really is quite beyond belief. However, to show how responsive he is to a gentlemanly request, he has decided that all of the fictional comments will remain in place.
Says it all really.
Give ‘em hell Curly. That appears to be a fairly immature blog site, especially when they fradulently use other’s names.

I’ve just heard about this. Don’t worry, I couldn’t think of anyone who would suspect you would post such rubbish. You have always been decent, open and fair.
Clearly this dude is a very sad individual. I don’t read the nonsense that he/she/they post, but am aware from others that it’s pretty pathetic and desperate stuff.
But hey, it’s all free publicity eh!?
