Nick Brown MPNIck Brown – old fashioned fool

The Labour MP for Newcastle East and Wallsend is a hypocritical old style Labour fool who carries on taking the North East for granted quite aware that constituents in a number of North East seats would vote for a Monkey if it was marked as left wing and socialist. (Come to think of it, a few of our local councillors fall into the same category).

The Conservative Party Leader David Cameron was in the region yesterday meeting  senior executives and workers at Nissan, and he criticised Gordon Clown’s policy approach to the ‘credit crunch’ and the recession blaming the government over it’s failed attempts to stimulate the economy and the failure of the banks to improve their lending.

What does Nick Brown (Gordon’s Chief Enforcer Whip)  come out with? This little gem:

“Cameron has come to the region to sneer at us in a cheap attempt to make political capital at the Labour Party’s expense.

“He does not care about what happens here and is happy to make his visit and clear off again once he has done his damage.

Typically “Old Labour” lacking in any clear vision and at total odds with the attitude of his boss. Let’s just go back three days and remember that the Broon family had no intention of visiting the North East to see first hand the damage that Labour’s economic incompetence is doing to our region. Indeed Prime Mentalist Brown seems to be doing his utmost to stay away from us, as once again the old generals take it for granted that they are worth every vote we throw their way. Their contempt for us is palpable, turn up once in a while, sweep the votes up, and scurry back to Westminster, it’s time they received something of a wake up call. Nick Brown’s remarks are dumb and contemptible.

We should all remember that Gordon Brown has had his hands on the levers of power for eleven years now, there’s no point in harking back nearly thirty years to blame someone else for the region’s woes, right now it is South Shields men and women at Nissan and their suppliers who are losing their jobs as a result of Labour’s policies.

At least Cameron had the heart and courage to come to the North East and understand the problems first hand and listen to people directly, in fact that’s now his fourth visit here in the last twelve months, that’s probably as many as the Member of Parliament for Newcastle East and Wallsend, and certainly more than the worst Prime Minister in living memory!
