Expenses spent on Second Life
MPs even claimed for Second Life
I can imagine that Mark Field, Tory member for Cities of London and Westminster, who claimed £250 for “design of internet avatar” might have complained mightily that it looked too much like David Miliband!
The range of items that some MPs have filched from tax payers by claiming on expenses is stupefying and continues to provide amusement and annoyance in equal measure.
Having had a good look at South Shields MP David Miliband’s expense claims the other day perhaps I can encourage you to go back and calculate how much he has spent on communications with Telewest for (one assumes) his telephone and office internet connections, it is not an inconsiderate amount!
With Tory MPs now rushing to give up their second jobs to concentrate on front line politics I guess we must ask the question about how much time and effort did the Foreign Secretary put into his “Second Life?“

They are all alike really because no one every really takes elected officials to task once they are in office.
Here in Zimbabwe, we are finding out now that Morgan Tsvangirai is just like Mugabe and can not bear to give the people freedom to speak out even if they disagree with him.
This is why I like blogs, they are giving citizens who would otherwise have been ignored because they did not sing the praises of the powers that be a platform that can reach hundreds of people
