Hope next week is better!
It’s been a bit of sad old week for Gordon Brown and his Labour colleagues in Brighton, they tried to put a brave face on it but The Sun managed to wipe a few smiles away, and so we all hope for better things next week in Manchester. I’m having a bit of a busy couple of days but managed to squeeze in this Photoshop effort (a variation on a theme) you can click on it to save a larger version, hang it in your window when the election comes around eh?

Ought we be proud that The Sun has wiped a few smiles away? Should we rejoce that a billionaire thinks that he holds our political parties to ransom? Murdoch hasn’t got an altruistic bone in his body. His machinations remind me of the Schoolchild who,as Sports Day approaches, thinks he has worked out which team will win and, needing to believe he can only be a winner, tries to get on board. Let’s face it, the only reason Murdoch supported Labour in 1997 was that he needed to back the winner. Can you really admire someone who takes out dual citizenship for the sole reason of adding more billions to his coffers? Does Cameron agree with Murdoch that the BBC should be a commercial service? All very sad.
