Cllr. George Elsom Pumpkin

Hurry, last few left!

You know how it’s always a good idea to have something handy available to scare the kids away tonight. Never mind all that good advice to put a notice in your window saying “no trick or treat here, thank you” , no, no, this what you need, the “really independent pumpkin!”. A custom made Curly’s Corner Shop special for South Shields only, selling today and I’ve only got a couple of hundred left, probably just enough to cater for Cleadon Park and the Nook. Ideally I’d have wished to have a few more for areas where kids are not welcomed any longer but it’s difficult to import these to arrive at the right time.

Just put it on your doorstep tonight, or leave one near a meeting place in the park if you wish, and trick or treat callers will be scared witless for months to come, it’s the ideal neighbourhood deterrent!

(if you have any suggestions for alternative ghouls and monsters, please leave them in the comments, I’ll be happy to get stock in for next year.)

Happy Halloween George.

2.55 p.m. Update

A customer has emailed an order for a number of pumpkins as desktop ornaments for offices within South Shields Town Hall, I’m afraid I can’t fulfill the order they are running out too quick! Best just print one off, pin it to your office notice board, it will be just as effective!

  1. At least Cllr Elsom is consistant and works hard for his ward.

He speaks a lot of sense at the East Shields Forum meetings.

The Indies were daft for letting him down – he was probably the one bloke who could have slaughtered Labour
