First Budget con trick revealed

nissan micraCar drivers clobbered!

Many thanks to The Tax Payers Alliance who have put together a database of car makes and models, current and future bands, and how much extra you can expect to pay for your Road Tax. How revealing it is, just as you were expecting the rich and the ostentatious to pay the environmental charge levied by Darling, we now find out that it’s not just the drivers of huge 4 X 4 Chelsea tractors and gas guzzlers who will suffer. 89% of motorists will face an increase of up to £100 per annum, whilst only 9% can be expected to save, and even then the most they will save is £25.00.

Living in South Shields you see lots of humble Nissan Micras running about on their clean efficient 1200cc engines, it is not surprising as they are built just six miles away in Washington, or that hundreds of South Shields men and women work for Nissan. You would expect this functional little model to be one that might find favour, but heck no! Micra drivers on the whole will face tax increases too, as much as an additional £40.00 per annum.

The Chancellor said he was;

“Cutting taxes for those who cut carbon emissions.”

he didn’t say that it only amounts to 9% of drivers, or that the most they might save is only £25.00!

Visit the Tax Payers Alliance to find out how much you will be clobbered!

Drivers of the Nissan Micra 1.2 or 1.4 automatics (yes that’s YOU ladies) will find that your car is now going to be in the same tax band (H) as:

  • Alfa Romeo GT 1.9 JTDM 16v
  • Audi A3 1.6 SE
  • Audi A4 2.0 TDI
  • Audi A5 Coupe 1.8 TFSI
  • Audi A6 Avant 2.0 TDI
  • BMW 3 Series 325i Coupe
  • BMW 5 Series 530i saloon
  • Cadillac 5 door wagon 1.9D
  • Chevrolet Kalos 1.4SX
  • Chrysler Jeep Sebring 2.0td
  • Citroen C5 2.2HDI Estate
  • Dodge Avenger 2.0 Saloon
  • Ford Focus 2.0 Estate
  • Ford Mondeo 2.2
  • Jaguar 2.2L Diesel estate
  • Mercedes Benz E Class Saloon E220 CDI
  • Saab 9-3 2 Door Convertible 1.9 TiDS

These are just a selection, there are others too. You may as well trade up girls, it will be far easier and in some cases a lot cheaper than shopping around for the band B Toyota Prius Milimobile!

  1. I think the green business brings out everything that is most unpleasant in our rulers.

This is a government that seems to be increasingly predatory in nature. They are always on the look out to persecute to punish to control and to extract more money,

Green issues add a moral excuse to their existing tendency to bully and extort and therefore they are increasingly merciless and self righteus. This has been vividly witnessed in attempts to charge for rubbish collection, collect only once a fortnight and impose fines for such appalling offenses as mixing up your rubbish. On the other hand 87% of all recycled stuff ends up in landfill demonstrating total incompetence on their part when it comes to achieving the ostensible aim of the policy

It is significant that alongside these so called green taxes the chancellor has set aside funding for road pricing something which most dont want but the government wants to impose

On the other hand when it comes to their part of the bargain, namely providing cheap and efficient public transport which might positively get people out of their cars they are too incompetent or indifferent to do so

These measures show either indifference or ignorance to the fact that people need their cars to shop take their kids places and in general just live

put simply they do things to us not for us.
