Off for a ride

with one comment

South Shields fairgroundEnjoy the Bank holiday while it’s here

Curly is getting a little tired of bumping into South Tyneside councillors and election candidates, or fielding their texts, email messages, and phone calls this Easter weekend. Why are they all so keen to be nice and courteous? Shouldn’t they be busy doing a spot of DIY or something?

Oh yes, the election show starts to get serious tomorrow, whatever leaflets and pamphlets that fell on your doorstep over the past couple of weeks were just the beginning, the scene setters, the real fun is about to get underway.

So while the sky is blue, and the sun shines, if you want to bump into me looking for a favourable comment here and there, I’ll be in South Shields fairground this afternoon.

It’s the ideal place for taking someone for a ride! Our elected representatives should be good at that!

  1. I notice in today’s local paper that we have John Wood showing off the new path in the Town Centre. I thought that was John Anglin’s job? Must have something to do with the fact that it is Woody who is up for re-election this year. I suppose we may see Ahmed Khan grabbing a photo opportunity sometime later this week. Oh well! C’est la vie.
