17% traffic increase over February

Traffic and visitors have been flocking to the Corner Shop again after a brief lull during “the boycott” in February (local “Independent” politicians continue their childish “do not comment” policy but they still visit here), traffic for the month increased from 17,149 to 20,085 unique visitors, an increase of 17.12%. Whilst here, visitors read on average 1.53 pages each – 30,731 page loads.

Also during March the previous record for the amount of unique visitors was broken on Tuesday 25th, when this post became a massive draw, with 2002 page views it was by far and away the most popular post of the month, and for the cynics it, was mainly content and creator driven rather than picking up “cheap hits” from search engines (just see the length of comments.) It has also become the second largest driver of visitors since this blog began four years ago. That single post also meant that traffic last week reached a new high also.
