Corner Shop statistics May 2008

Unremarkable month

After the massive and unusual spike in the graph last month things have settled down to the normal pattern of slowly improving growth in readership, the 21,699 figure is on a par with January and a marked improvement on February and March. The big difference this month is the fact that 35% of visitors came from oversees compared with around the normal 20%. Considering that May included a Parliamentary recess and that quiet period after the local elections in South Tyneside, I’m happy that so many of you keep coming back to read my thoughts.

Top Ten Posts

The top ten posts by page view for May were as follows:

So five local issues and five national issues proved to be the most popular reads, and somehow that old Cherie story got dragged up by the search engines after the release of her book. Top Ten referrers

These ten sites provided the most visitors over the past thirty days to the Corner Shop, why not give them a visit to show your appreciation.
