Labour diverting money to it’s own areas of support

Nothing new to see here, move along now!

It’s the same old story, even amongst areas where Labour support is high, they always find ways and means of diverting funds towards their favoured projects affecting those conclaves where their support is highest. Yes, even here in South Shields and South Tyneside – do you think for one minute that Cleadon Village would be the first area to benefit from new street lighting? Would you imagine that West park would be highest on the agenda for a new school or a new polyclinic? Could you imagine CAFs in South Tyneside that were not designed with boundaries that gave a Labour majority?

Don’t expect things to change drastically when the Labour Party is turned out of government either, the Conservatives will have their day and try to reverse the process to favour their voters – it’s called politics and spending needs will be redefined in an expedient fashion. It has always been thus.

Nope, nothing new to see here then, move along now.
