Plotter in £1m book deal

Harriet harman, david Miliband, and Gordon Brown

Deal set for a blockbuster

News has just reached the Corner Shop of a new advance given to the Labour Party to the tune of £1m, which should see them telling the gathering at Hoonwarts Hall in Manchester that they are ready to write the next volume in the Harry Plotter series.

Plotter, ably assisted by his slightly more attractive assistant Harriet Hermione, and the bumbling Brown, will  attempt to use all of his wizardry to take on “he who shall not be spoken of“, in a tale of intrigue and twists as the Ghosts of Glenrothes threaten to destroy the reputations of all three.

Be ready to turn every page and expect the unexpected, as Plotter finds that “Voldemort” has morphed into a false friend who becomes an evil Prime Minister determined to break the will of the young wizard, and the muggles back in the boy David’s constituency in South Shields rally around their leader Ernest Gibson looking for support and encouragement in the fight against the twin devils of Voldemort and “the nameless one”.

Find out over the course of a twenty month epic who will win the battle, and enjoy the suspense as you wonder whether Plotter will live to fight again.

  2. Superb graphic, Curly! Very funny.

These days, I find that I don’t need to make any “adjustments” to Gordon Brown’s face – he just looks ghastly all the time.

  5. That is a truly remarkable work of art, even though it does make Gordon B look rather like Peter O’Toole! 🙂

This deserves an award, if there is one for this genre. Even The Lakelander’s also excellent efforts take second place this time…
