Gordon Brown, BLI have a sense of deja vu

Haven’t we been here before?

Haven’t we attempted to keep industries and jobs alive in a vain attempt to buck world trends in the past?

Isn’t there a good economic reason why we are no longer famous for mining coal, building ships, and making Austin Allegros?

Dizzy Thinks he has the answer and it lies in the killing of NuLabour he argues, and it’s time for the workers to own the means of production and distribution – the nightmares are about to return!

Once Gordon Brown has borrowed billions of pounds to prop up a car industry to make cars that nobody wants or can afford in the middle of a recession, in order to shore up Labour votes, those who are left in work will be looking for new “Red Robbos” to man the picket lines as management attempt to slow down wage growth in the face of dwindling production.

A new Scargill will need to be found to support “the brothers” as other sectors feel the pinch too, we’ll be looking at morgues full of unburied bodies next winter and mountains of uncollected rubbish as Brown turns the clock back to the years of “Sunny Jim“.
