Tory leader attacks BNP

with 2 comments

cllr. david pottsSouth Tyneside Conservative group leader David Potts attacks “dangerous and divisive” party.

This just in from the leader of South Tyneside Council’s Conservative group:

“It was great to see Martin Callanan returned to office to represent the people of the north east. He is an extremely hard working and dedicated MEP.

Our share the vote shows that Labour are finished, and the sooner Brown gathers the courage to call a general election, the better!

I was deeply saddened to see that the BNP gained two seats. This is an extremely dangerous and divisive party and we must never forget what it is they stand for – hatred. They are racists and homophobes. Fortunately they will have very little, if any, influence in the parliament.”

  1. The BNP are not dangerous, they only appear dangerous because their rise has been consistent under the Labour Party. The Conservatives in government could crush them like a bug, if they wanted to.

  2. Greetings Curly.

You are always welcome to attend our anti BNP/fascist/racist meetings in the borough. We would welcome an additional committed voice against this abhorrent surge which attacks all those who are different.

If you like, I will send you details of our future meetings for you to advertise.

    Sorry, I have no website.
