Balance to Branley’s leaflet

with 8 comments

Another newsletter circulating in the Westoe ward of South Shields.

Just been given a copy of this newsletter which is currently circulating in the Westoe Ward of South Shields following the sacking of the former Independent councillor Allen Branley. This newsletter gives the other side of the story as someone (we don’t know who the publisher is) tries to  balance the misinformation distributed by Mr. Branley, let us all remember he was SACKED, he DID NOT RESIGN.

I’m rather pleased that someone has picked up my lead here, and it would be nice if all of our non Independent parties in South Shields were singing from the same hymn sheet on this story. The electorate in Westoe, and indeed throughout the borough of South Tyneside, need to be fully informed of the inactivity of the Independent Alliance and how one of their leading members has been thrown out for the second time.

  2. brill leaflet and exposes them for the total liars they are. I drink in the county and the no show branleys are the talk of the place. Lots of people switching there votes this time, some to labour but not all. reading the indie leaflets i cant help thinking they are getting worried.

    the truth is out –

  4. Don’t know quite what to make of Mr de Matas’s apologies. Any ideas, Curly, or anyone else out there?

  5. I’m sure that apologies are always welcome, but a little further detail would not come amiss. Is this a general apology for acting on behalf of Mr. Branley at all, or a more specific apology for the distribution of a specific leaflet or piece of literature?

    • This is to say sorry to all of our workers who distributed Mr Branleys election campaigns and the 1a dental leaflet campaign, and to everyone who got a leaflet.
Tomorrow streetwise as a new up and coming business
will be forced to part company with 4 of our team members.

This is a direct result of him.
Streetwise are a circular and sample distribution business not a direct mail company.

Apparently some of the staff at the practices did not get a leaflet, whilst the majority of people did .

Could someone please inform him of that.
A direct mail company would have charged in excess of 120,000 pounds sterling for the work we done.

And i have a feeling that the abusive e mails and a team of other distributors who stare into our family home trying to intimidate our family.
It has been all forwarded to the police.
After weeks of trying to e mail and call him about certain issues he sees fit now to produce a letter
to us demanding 500 pounds even though nearly 30,000 dental leaflets were distributed.
What do i say to some of my workers mothers, fathers?

      • Clearly there is a lot more to this distribution business than meets the eye, perhaps some of which you may not wish to discuss publicly, and some of which may be too sensitive to release into the public arena. Would you care to email me directly? – (my address is on the contact page)

  6. Pass this on to the PM curly,

Britain is in the middle of a recession,
And its small advertising businesses like ours
that will get the economy moving again .
