Forget the squabbling…..

with one comment

……says Tony Dailly

I have already featured some of the campaign leaflets from the Independents and the Labour Party here, so for the sake of balance here is the leaflet distributed today by a merry band of Conservative volunteers in the Westoe ward of South Shields. Their candidate is local man Tony Dailly of Hartington Terrace, and his team were joined today by some of the staff from the Conservative Party’s Campaign team based in Newcastle helping members of the South Shields Association in delivering the leaflets. I was pared up with a young man named John and we made brisk work of the area we were allotted and polished it off in just over an hour, a job well done I thought, and we had almost exactly the correct number of leaflets needed for the houses in the streets on our list, nicely organised.

Here is Mr. Dailly’s leaflet and the Conservatives are making a strong point that the squabbling between NuLabour and Old Labour (the majority of the Independent Alliance councillors) is not good for South Tyneside’s prospects, and that their candidate reflects a mood for change, and that he wishes to be involved at a local level in problem solvng and regenerating the town centre of South Shields.
