On a renewed bid to oust Gordon Brown

Gordon Brown may be unpopular and uninspiring, but he leads a Government with the same qualities. He is not, as far as I can see, blocking the path of some inspirational and dynamic leader who could do a wonderful job. Who is any better as opposed to less worse?

The present situation is unacceptable. Labour have had a good run but their time is up. They should go, and go now with some small dignity remaining, before we are subjected to the idiocy of the next parliament which will consist of a huge round of ya-booing as Darling and Brown attempt to explain the necessity of cuts in public expenditure having spent the last couple of months telling us that they were not going to do any such thing, unlike the Tories.

Are there any parents reading this who subject their children to this kind of nonsense and have retained their respect?

They are flying on autopilot, destination unknown, simply happy to be in the air.
