What a relief

Ban Bullying at Work campaign cancelled.

Tomorrow would have been the anniversary of the National Ban Bullying at Work campaign which used to be organised by the Andrea Adams Trust, however it has been cancelled this year because of an unfortunate lack of sponsorship (really more employers ought to have supported this former charity).

South Tyneside Independent Alliance Cllr. Ahmed Khan used to be a supporter of this campaign through his South Shields business, and he highlighted the issue on this page in December 2006.

bullying at work

I wonder if he may be a little relieved that the campaign day is not taking place this year? A District Judge said of him this week:

“The defendant’s behaviour may have been overbearing and bullying…….”

as he was cleared of an assault charge which had nothing at all to do with work.

The words unfortunate timing come to mind.
