Cheeky Girls to entertain

The Christmas Lights in South Shields will be switched on next Saturday by the Mayor Cllr . John Anglin, ably assisted by his “Cheeky Girls” Joan Meeks and Joanne Bell, as a touch of glamour is brought to town during the popular group’s Christmas tour. Being South Shields you can guarantee that we always want to bring you the best quality entertainment and fun, allowing ourselves to bask in the aura of the stars.

(Ed. – you silly boy, it’s a different pair of Cheeky Girls coming to South Shields!)

Oh well, the whole thing was just crying out for some fun.

  3. Why does ‘fun’ always involve women councillors and usually those from the Labour side of the benches. When will we be treated to the body of Borat in his mankini or even a hunky male model in speedos featuring the head of one of the male opposition councillors. Don’t be a sexist Curly.

    • I Spy, apart from the fact that the reputation of this blog relies heavily on taking the proverbial out of our local Labour council – just for fun – in the past I have used Jane Branley, Alan Branley, Geraldine White, Steve Harrison, George Waddle, Joe Abbott, David Potts, Ahmed Khan, David Cameron, Charles Kennedy, NIck Clegg, Nick Griffin, Barack Obama, George Bush and others in my ‘satirical’ images, and they are just the ones that I can remember off the top of my head. I don’t think I can be accused of a lack of equality or diversity!

Indeed my previous post featured David Cameron’s face put into a woman’s body, you really ought to lay off the Hattie Harman pills for a few days.

  4. Must have missed those ones! Anyway Cameron’s head on Thatchers body is hardly the same. As for the Hattie Harman pills. I was fighting for equal opportunities when Hattie was still playing with her dolls.
