Your hands, feet, and your cash.

Karen Allen, the promising Conservative Candidate for South Shields has launched an appeal for cash, she’s only looking for £500 right now to help with literatures and the cost of telephone calls during the upcoming general election campaign. Unlike many others around the country, the South Shields Conservative Association is not awash with cash, it has no big business sponsors or patrons, it does not receive large wads from Unite or other trades unions like David Miliband does for his party HQ in Westoe Road, and they don’t receive anything from Lord Ashcroft either. It would not surprise you to learn that South Shields Conservatives are not exactly the sort of Toffs that Gordon Brown and Peter Mandelson would have you believe, they are just ordinary South Shields folks – simple as that.

So if you would like to help Karen make a difference in her fight against Labour do donate a few quid – here.

Karen is also looking to build a bigger team of volunteers to help deliver her literature during the election period, so if you can spare a few hours here and there, perhaps just delivering leaflets in your street and one or two others adjacent to it, then get in touch with her:

When you are up to your eyes in the Brown stuff, then everyone needs to pull together to dig us out.
