Identity issues

with 2 comments

Why is this man hiding his identity?

He stays out of South Shields and goes on the road to promote Labour (but not Gordon Brown) wherever he can, so long as it isn’t here, and he makes videos for his new blog, yet considering that he was a member of Brown’s government which has fought so hard and so long to introduce ream after ream of anti terror laws, and to frighten us all into carrying expensive National ID Cards and be recorded onto a national ID database, why is he working so hard to hide his own identity in this video? (Surprised he didn’t get Capt. Jean-Luc Picard to do a voice over for him)

We know who you are!

  1. Do you believe in the first past the post system for election to Parliament? If you do you need to recognise that the most able members will have significant responsibilities in either the Government or opposition and therefore cannot spend as much time engaging in constituency responsibilities as otherwise would be the case.

    So Curly’s for PR then…..

    • Essentially, yes I do like first past the post, better still if someone can get more than 50% of the popular vote! If I had to have my arm twisted in favour of a PR system then it would have to be the additional or single transferable vote where the weakest drop out until one candidate passes the 50% mark.
