Marvel has Brown fighting against aliens!

I was rather tickled by this story, wondering just who exactly are these aliens who are threatening Northumbria. Are they the hordes of Independent and Conservative councillors who took so many seats from New Labour in North and South Tyneside, and Northumberland in May? Are they the Blairite rebels such as Alan Milburn who is calling for a coherant policy from Brown? Or are they the likes of Ronnie Campbell the Labour MP for Blyth who is fighting against changes in Vehicle Excise Duty?

I find it difficult to imagine Gordon Brown taking charge of a group of superheroes to fight against the Skrull (is that the Skrull behind him?)

Perhaps the guys at Marvel know a little more about the bunker mentality than I do.
