Twitter injunction, has it set a useful precedent?

Conservative libertarian blogger and legal eagle Donal Blaney has successfully executed a High Court injunction via Twitter, now known as Blaney’s Blarney Order, requiring an anonymous blogger to reveal himself and to stop impersonating Blaney on the internet. Donal is now negotiating a settlement that will involve a donation to charity.

I’m just wondering if there are a few people here in South Tyneside who having suffered miserably from the contributions of an anonymous blogger(s) in a number of guises (including a recent fresh manifestation) might like to get in touch with Donal to ascertain if this type of injunction can be applied through the posting of a comment on a blog, or through other internet avenues?

You never know, it may elicit a positive response.
